About The Coach House

The Coach House has a four star rating from VisitBritain and participates in the Walkers Welcome and Cyclists Welcome schemes.  It is also included in Alastair Sawday's Special Escapes. 









The cottage sleeps two and overlooks a wild meadow with far reaching views over the unspoilt High Weald.  You can sit outside in your private garden area and enjoy the peace and nature around you or visit many of the local haunts and attractions.  There are lots of walks and cycle trails locally such as the Cuckoo Trail which is part of the national cycle network.  The accommodation is all on the ground floor consisting of a spacious living area with partition doors that lead to the bedroom area, the shower room and a well equipped kitchen with hob, built-in oven and a microwave grill.

  • Welcome tray to include tea, coffee, milk, sugar, cake and biscuits to help you relax after your journey
  • Starter breakfast pack so you do not have to rush out shopping as soon as you arrive - including our own free-range eggs (when the girls are co-operating!)   
  • Essentials in the kitchen such as salt and pepper, oils and vinegar, cling film and kitchen foil, cleaning products, bin liners and bags for recycling


If you have any food allergies or intolerances, please let us know in advance so we can source alternative products.

There is a separate Garden Room for you to store cycles or wet weather gear and you have use of the barbeque and a small freezer here.

For a small fee, we can also arrange to collect cyclists and their luggage from a local railway station if required.
